Best pepper spray for self defense

Our cheap pepper spray for car is easily accessible by hanging it on your car visor. For over 10 years Pepper Shot 10% pepper spray has been a bestseller. The 10% concentration refers to amount of oleoresin capsicum (OC) present in the product. OC is the concentrated extract from the fruit of the chili plant used to make the product. You may hear pepper spray referred to as OC spray. Also, it is often called by its brand name, three of which we sell, Pepper Shot, Wildfire, and Mace. These are 3 very good brands; you can't go wrong with any of them.

This Pepper Shot works more effectively than most. It is made with a very fine grain that works better than coarser grains of other pepper sprays.

Features:

Auto visor clip

Contains 6-10 one-second bursts

Safety Lock

None of us want to think we will ever be attacked, but with all of the unrest on the streets today, we have to be prepared for the worst. If you are attacked, having pepper spray on hand can save your life. Carrying OC spray on your keychain or in your purse is an easy way to be prepared. NOW is the time to prepare for your own personal protection, not later when it will be too late.

How a pepper spray works

Pepper spray is easy to use. All sprays have locking actuators for safety, so the spray will not activate in your purse or while dangling from your car keys. To engage the spray, slide the actuator over with your thumb, and you are ready to spray. Practice the motion a few times so you know exactly what to do in a stressful situation. If you are attacked, draw the pepper spray, keeping it close to your body. Keeping it close to you will prevent the attacker from taking the spray from or knocking it out of your hand. Place your thumb on the trigger, and press to fire the spray into your assailant's eyes. You can adjust your aim as you spray. (You may be tempted to use one of your fingers to press the trigger, but don't. You will have much more control when using your thumb.)

This product causes the eyes to shut and tear making it impossible for the attacker to see you, giving you time to get away. Back up away from the attacker after firing the spray. If they follow you, spray him again. Your goal is to get away from this person, not disable him and attack him or punish him. You never know if this person has accomplices nearby or has a concealed weapon. Your intention is to spray, then run away as fast as possible.

Again, practice how your will use your spray. Practicing makes your reaction to an attack become a habit so that you won't freeze or hesitate when you need to act quickly. If your really want to become familiar, buy two canisters and actually fire one each time you practice. That will give you the feel of how hard to press and how far away you can be from the person you are spraying. Trust me, you will be thankful that you practiced! When we are stressed, we act in the manner in which we practiced!

This non lethal pepper spray is effective even if the attacker is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. For 20-30 minutes the attacker will experience extreme pain and swelling mucous membranes, which causes temporary blindness and makes breathing difficult. They will not want to open their eyes. No permanent damage will be caused.

Pepper spray is legal in all 50 states. However, some states have restrictions on its size, weight of canister, and how much spray it can contain. Some states restrict the type and amount of ingredients that can be added to the pepper spray, for example, UV dyes and other active ingredients may be prohibited, or the OC concentration has to remain below a certain amount. Some states will only allow citizens 18 years or older to purchase pepper spray. Some states prohibit online purchases. Some states only allow these purchases through licensed dealers or you have to have a firearm license to legally carry the spray. Please check your local laws before purchase. Your order will be rejected if online purchases are restricted in your state.
