 What comes with my Taser?

The Taser Pulse comes equipped with a laser, an LED light, 2 live cartridges, 1 soft holster, a lithium power battery pack, and a target.

Are the cartridges replaceable?

When your buy a civilian taser, it comes with live electroshock cartridges to use for self defense. You may easily purchase replacement cartridges once you use those or buy them to have on hand should you use your weapon. You may also purchase training cartridges to use for practice. These cartridges are blue and the live ones are black to prevent mixing the two.

How do the cartridges work?

Each live black cartridge contains a primer, gas capsule, probes, serialized tags, and conductive wires. The probes are what shoots out and attaches to an attacker, attached to the conductive wires down which the electrical current travels. The serialized tags are specific to each cartridge to provide proof at a crime scene what taser was used. The blue training cartridges come with the same primer, gas capsule, and probes, but the tags are not serialized and wires are not conductive. They will not cause incapacitation like the live ones and should only be used for practice and training purposes.

Can I use the cartridges with other tazers?

Both the black live replacements and blue training cartridges are compatible with the Taser Bolt, Pulse, and C2 tazer guns.

How far does the Pulse shoot?

The TASER Pulse has a 15 foot range, giving you the advantage of distance from an attacker. You want them to be at least 10 feet away from you in order for the probes to land far enough apart for the electrical current to work properly. They will be immobilized for 30 seconds giving you time to make a Safe Escape. If the attacker is close to shoot them with the probes or you shoot them while too close making the electrical current insufficent, you can touch them with your device and "stun" them, just like a regular stun gun.

What happens when I have to leave my weapon attached to the attacker?

When used for self defense, leave your tazer gun at the scene of the crime, since it is attached to the assailant, so that you may run to safety. Taser will replace your device for free. This is called the Safe Escape Product Replacement Program. What other weapons do you own that have a replacement policy like that? None.

What makes the Taser Pulse easy to use?

The pulse's small pistol shape allows for discreet concealed carry. Aim at your target with laser precision and flashlight. The flashlight will also blind a would be attacker. The pulse has a trigger just like a real gun, making it easy to shoot.

How long does the battery last?

The battery is long lasting, for about 50 firings. The device has a battery indicator light to notify you when it is running low.
